Museums in Cambridgeshire News 18 (14 July 2015)

Regular round-up of news for Museums in Cambridgeshire from Gordon Chancellor, Museums Partnership Officer.

  1. There are some excellent volunteering opportunities currently available within the University Museums at www.cam.ac.uk/museums/getinvolved.
  2. HLF Cambridge office have a Team Assistant vacancy but the closing date is 15 July (tomorrow!).
  3. The Fitzwilliam Museum has a vacancy for a Learning Associate (closing date 20 July).
  4. The David Parr House in Cambridge is advertising for a Development Manager (closing date 30 July).
  5. Bottisham Airfield Museum have a graduate internship via UEA for a Digital Archivist based at Duxford. Unfortunately, again, the closing date is tomorrow.
  6. I attach a flyer about ‘Ocean Song’ a highly imaginative collaboration between the Norris Museum and the University Museum of Zoology. I think it’s self-explanatory but let me know if you want more information.
  7. I also attach some information about an opportunity to develop your marketing from the Arts Marketing Association with a course in Cambridge on 23-25 November.
