Regular round-up of news for Museums in Cambridgeshire from Gordon Chancellor, Museums Partnership Officer.

This week I am pleased to announce this year’s allocation of small grants. Please see the attached application form and guidance document. You may notice that this year the maximum size of grant is £1,000 and the timetable is a little earlier than it has been in recent years, with a deadline for applications of 30 October.

I can also report that HLF are recruiting for a new Chair and Member on the East of England Committee with roles starting in April 2016. The closing date for applications is Monday 28 September 2015. Finally, Mike Latchem’s funeral (see MiC news 24) is on Tuesday 22 September at 12:30 at March Crematorium.  The wake will be held at Ramsey Rural Museum from 2pm. No flowers but donations to the Museum.
